Karen and Shawn are a husband and wife chiropractic team.

Dr. Karen Ferguson is a graduate of Ohio University where she majored in exercise physiology. Once she understood the link to health that chiropractic offered, she entered Life University. In her last year, she was vice president of the Pediatrics Club and has been a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association for nine years.

Because Dr. Karen has such extensive knowledge in pregnancy, childbirth, and pediatrics, many parents and midwives ask Dr. Karen to assist them in the pregnancy/birth experience. A number of these expecting families ask her to be present at the birth to provide chiropractic care for the mom and newborn, and to provide labor support as a certified doula. She is a guest speaker at many chiropractic conventions on the topic of family care.

Dr. Shawn Ferguson also graduated from Life University. He is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Life University, on the editorial review board for Today's Chiropractic Magazine, and a regular motivational speaker at chiropractic seminars. He also graduated from the Inner Winners Masters Program and has trained hundreds of chiropractors in personal growth, communication and teamwork skills.
