Meet the Doctors

 Dr. Karen Ferguson is a 1991 graduate of Ohio University and a 1995 graduate of Life University. Dr. Karen began her quest for health after a neck injury and a chiropractic adjustment, prompted her to switch her desiredprofession from physical therapy to chiropractic. Her passion for wanting to be a chiropractor is centered on her desire to help pregnant women and children. Dr. Karen became certified in pediatrics adjusting (adjusting babies) as well as The Webster`s technique (an adjustment to help turn a breech baby while in utero) while still in school. Her passion also fueled her desire to have her children at home. All four children have been born at home and are being raised without the use of drugs and vaccinations. Dr. Karen has furthered her expertise to include being a certified doula (a labor coach). Using her life experience and knowledge, Dr. Karen has created a thriving practice in Acworth, GA with her husband and chiropractor Dr. Shawn Ferguson. Currently, Ferguson Family Chiropractic boasts a large pediatric practice, half of which are children and pregnant women. In fact, Drs. Karen and Shawn are constantly welcoming new patients into the world and into the practice, often times going to homes or hospitals to adjust the newborn and mom minutes after birth. When Dr. Karen is not busy being a mom, wife or chiropractor she is a regular speaker at chiropractic conferences around the country.
